I am an Ohio-based songwriter and even though I don't live in Nashville, it hasn't stopped me from collaborating with some great songwriters. Today's technology makes writing with someone across the country or across continents almost as easy as sitting in a studio together. It has been a wonderful journey of making new friends and new music.
Please stay and check out some of my music and feel free to drop me a line and by all means...stop back and see what is coming next!
Here's a recent article in Billboard Magazine mentioning my co-write of a song called "Higher" recorded by Eddie Montgomery (of Montgomery Gentry), which is a duet with Tanya Tucker (exerpt paragraph below).

From Billboard Magazine: In addition to recording for the first time with his band, Montgomery has a couple other significant firsts on the album, including duetting with country legend Tanya Tucker on “Higher,” written by Jim “Moose” Brown, David Wade, Shane Grove and Erik Michael Westfall. “I’m just glad Tanya would sing with me. I can’t believe it,” he says, shaking his head with a big smile. “She’s an icon, and her voice is so unbelievably strong. I’d put her up against anybody that’s coming into town now -- and I promise you she’ll smoke them. To get the chance to sing with an icon like that, that’s pretty awesome."
